The Woodmoor Mountain roads are a private road system and are maintained by funds allocated for this purpose by the Board of Directors from annual dues and by funds collected each year through a Douglas County General Improvement District (GID).  A mill levy is assessed by the County on each property based on valuation and dispersed to the WMHOA through the GID.  GID funds are paid to County approved contractors through a competitive bid system.  All contractors doing work on the common road system are required to meet all County regulations regarding insurance, workers compensation and bonds. No work is to be performed on the common road system with GID funds unless done by a contractor approved by Douglas County. The Roads Committee Chair, Board Members and Committee Volunteers are unpaid residents of Woodmoor Mountain that graciously give of their time.

Please drive slowly
(repeat s..l..o..w..l..y) on Woodmoor Mountain Roads!

Not only do we share the roads with other drivers, but the abundant deer, fox and turkeys are bound to be in the road from time to time as well as your human neighbors!!  Many of us like to hike, walk our dogs, ride horses or mountain bike on our roads!   Please keep everyone safe by driving slowly and reminding your visitors and contractors to do the same.
